This Saturday the 3rd of November, Lighthouses of Australia will relight the Historic light at Green Cape on behalf of NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service in conjunction with the Eden Whale Festival.
The 1st of November 2018 marks 135 years since the light was first lit and acknowledges all the keepers who served the light until it was replaced by an automatic solar light in March 1994.
The light will operate from Dusk on Saturday until dawn on Sunday. The tower will be open to the public on Saturday and is a rare opportunity to see the old light in operation.
